I’m one day closer to the perfection

     I decided to start my diet from Tuesday. You’ll definitely ask me why. First of all because Monday is the most difficult day of the week. I usually have a lot of work to do after the weekends and I can’t entirely concentrate on my aim – to lose fat.  So I spent the whole Monday working. Though I visited gym in the evening. And on Tuesday I started my morning with the little exercise.

     I had my breakfast on Tuesday at 11 o’clock, exactly as Mr. Zelner had told me. It consisted of a boiled egg, a piece of dark bread and a half of a grapefruit. To lose fat you mustn’t eat any fat! As I was full of excitement I didn’t even noticed I ate three times less then usually. I felt like I was going to make the greatest thing one has ever done – lose 10 pounds in a week! This feeling helped me to fight my hunger, which by the way had appeared at about 3 o’clock. Of course I drank lots of greet tea. I added a tea spoon of honey in it. My diet doctor told me honey was very useful for my body. It contains numerous minerals.

     I had my lunch at 3 p.m. and it consisted of 100 gram of curd, but without any jam or sugar. I really could add some honey, but I decided not to seduce myself with sweet things. I also had a small piece of dark bread and a grapefruit for my lunch. When I had some sudden desire to eat, I made myself green tea without sugar. And after having drunk it I got a feeling that I was full of food.

     The doctor advised me not to eat after 7 p.m. he said that if I didn’t eat after 7 p.m. my stomach would be able to digest all the food I had ate during a day. And as for my supper I had some boiled rice. I had a choice also to do what to add. So I chose steamed fish for Tuesday. It tasted really good. I was completely satisfied with myself.

     But the day wasn’t over and I had to do something useful not to waste my time and not to be seduced by food, available at home. I refused to cook supper for my family and my husband had to manage this task somehow. I thought it would be good for me to avoid food, I was prohibited to eat. I had a difficult task – to lose 10 pounds fast! I wasn’t allowed to make a mistake and I had to be careful and attentive.

     It is a rule that when you are prohibited to do something, you usually want to try that badly. The same happened to me. I felt hunger as soon as I put the last piece of my supper in my mouth. I didn’t feel the physical hunger, but my mind asked me for more food. So I went downtown and watched a movie that was going on that day. On my way home I felt very well. I had a great time. I spent some time on my own, far from my family and my troubles. That was really a good start of my diet!
