Three day without tasty food – I didn’t think I could
My third day of the diet had to be easy. I had thought it would be. But when it came I realized, it was still difficult to avoid tasty food. Every time doubts came into my head, I thought: “I’d lose 10 pounds in a week”. This thought warmed me. I believed I could lose weight.
My menu list for Thursday was rather short. I decided not to think about it and tried to take my thoughts far away from food and everything closely connected to this topic. That’s why I took part in a seminar which took place in our city that day. The lecture was concerning my profession a lot. I knew about this event almost a month ago but I wasn’t interested. Thought as I had decided to change my life, I thought it would be a great occasion for self-improvement. So I bought a ticket.
On Thursday I could only eat fruits (except bananas), vegetables (except beans and potatoes), a little soup and a lot of water. So for breakfast I had soup. I decided to cook fresh soup; I didn’t want to eat the one I had cooked for Wednesday. So I got up early, made a little jogging to lose fat and started to prepare myself soup.
As for lunch I had only had some salad of tomatoes and cabbage and cucumbers. I didn’t dress it with any oil or vinegar. It was a simple mix of vegetables. As it was summer and the temperature was high, I didn’t want to eat much for lunch. I felt glad to have chosen such a good time of the year for my renewal. Plus I was so interested in lecture; I didn’t even remember it was meal time. By the way, one of my dearest friends advised me to make a small note with words “I want to lose 10 pounds in a week” and put it in my wallet. Every time I had to pay for something in a shop I’d saw the note and remembered how strongly I wanted to lose weight.
I returned home completely exhausted, but it was just about 6 p.m. I still had to spend a lot of time in the house before I’d go to bed and forget about food. Fortunately, I saw some dust on the window and made my decision to clean up everywhere. By 9 p.m. I managed to do everything but I had found more places that needed to be cleaned and I thought it’d be a great opportunity to forget about my diet and to lose fat while doing cleaning. And also cleaning was some kind of exercising, it’d help me to lose weight and to lose 10 pound fast.
Almost before going to bed I had eaten one orange and an apple. I felt myself much lighter. Nevertheless my starvation wouldn’t let me forget about itself. I felt again that my stomach didn’t want to eat, but my mind asked a portion of fried potatoes my family had for supper. It was a very difficult day for me.
